Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids comes into a darkened arena with his song building. David Guetta feat. Akon - Sexy Bitch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephens lands with a nice combination. Davids backs away looking to recover.
Stephens dips to his left and cracks Davids with an uppercut!
Stephens jabs at Davids's body.
Horrible takedown by Davids or perhaps it was just good defense by Stephens which made him look bad.
Stephens jabs Davids right on the nose. Davids blinks but takes it well.
Stephens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davids takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Davids closes the distance and clinches up with Stephens , looking for a takedown. Davids pushes Stephens against the cage but Stephens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stephens lands a nice shot that snaps Davids's head back.
Davids takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stephens lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Stephens stuffs the takedown attempt from Davids. Davids gets slowly back to his feet.

Davids seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stephens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stephens tries to roll over but Davids keeps him under control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stephens thuds his right hand into Davids's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sam Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Davids lands a big shot there that rocks Stephens but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Davids jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stephens manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Davids wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stephens , who protects the arm well.
Stephens is not content to let Davids control the position.

Davids is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stephens will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Davids ducks right into an uppercut from Stephens .
Davids shoots in looking for a takedown. Stephens tries to sprawl out of it but Davids keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stephens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stephens is looking to wear down Davids with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Stephens is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
