Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladymyr Kersikov (ranked 5738 p4p, 4060 weight class) and Joey Van Ingen (ranked 186 p4p, 127 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Van Ingen moves in looking to clinch but Kersikov pushes him off.
Kersikov tries to counter by clinching up but Van Ingen breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Ingen wants to clinch up but Kersikov keeps it at a distance.
Kersikov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Kersikov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kersikov rushes Van Ingen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Van Ingen trying to control the position but instead, Kersikov has worked for underhooks and has pushed Van Ingen into the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kersikov - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Van Ingen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kersikov is keeping busy.
Van Ingen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
