Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Man Azroi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morty Horowitz!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horowitz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Horowitz. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Horowitz.
Azroi shoots in for a takedown but Horowitz shows good takedown defense.
Horowitz darts in and clinches Azroi up against the cage.
Horowitz lands a takedown into guard.
Azroi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horowitz misses with a head kick.

Azroi wants to clinch up but Horowitz keeps it at a distance.

and Horowitz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Horrible takedown attempt by Azroi or perhaps it was just good defense by Horowitz, which made it look bad.
Azroi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Horowitz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Horowitz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Azroi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Azroi is looking to get back to is feet but Horowitz passes into side control.
Azroi seems to have got his legs back now.
Horowitz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Azroi to his feet.
Horowitz scores with a jab. Azroi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Horowitz throws a nice looking combination but Azroi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Azroi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Horowitz sprawls and moves away.
Horowitz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Horowitz lands a glancing blow to the side of Azroi's head.

Horowitz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Azroi eats them both and turns towards Horowitz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Horowitz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Horowitz steps in with a hook that catches Azroi right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Horowitz follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Azroi looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morty Horowitz!
In his post fight interview, Morty Horowitz gave a big smile as he said 'I knew Khamzat Chimaev in 2014, WHO ARE YOU! '.
