Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriele Ghiotto (ranked 4403 p4p, 4205 weight class) and Uchima Gonshiro (ranked 220 p4p, 211 weight class). Uchima Gonshiro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriele Ghiotto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uchima Gonshiro!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonshiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ghiotto tries to avoid it but Gonshiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ghiotto to the ground. Ghiotto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
An attempted straight right counter from Ghiotto misses the target.
Gonshiro swings widly with a right hand
and Ghiotto counters with a right hand to the body.
Gonshiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ghiotto swivels and escapes.
Ghiotto slaps away a takedown attempt from Gonshiro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gabriele Ghiotto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uchima Gonshiro.
Gonshiro shoots and misses
and Ghiotto counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Uchima Gonshiro has been cut.
Gonshiro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ghiotto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gonshiro is rocked!
Gonshiro doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ghiotto counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
