Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fjodr Emilianencho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genadij Zuganov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emilianencho kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Red Army Is The Strongest- Red Army Choir. The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emilianencho pushes Zuganov up against the cage in a clinch.
Emilianencho ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Emilianencho no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zuganov won't allow Emilianencho to sweep him here.
Zuganov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Emilianencho has his foot on Zuganov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zuganov works his way back into a safe position though.

Emilianencho is looking for a triangle but Zuganov pushes his legs off easily.

Emilianencho manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zuganov manages to get himself to full guard.

Emilianencho is looking to advance position but Zuganov won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Fjodr Emilianencho just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Emilianencho drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Emilianencho is taking a breather. Zuganov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emilianencho fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zuganov sprawls well initially but Emilianencho persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emilianencho moves nicely into side control.
Zuganov takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Zuganov is breathing heavily.

Emilianencho is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zuganov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Emilianencho gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zuganov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Emilianencho lets go of the hold and Zuganov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
