Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aiko Inhanamoto (ranked 2720 p4p, 3429 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 348 p4p, 416 weight class). Inhanamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Veruca Salt - "Stoneface". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Aiko Inhanamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wade Wilson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inhanamoto misses with a double jab.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inhanamoto as he jumps to the side. Inhanamoto tries to clinch up. Wilson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Inhanamoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Inhanamoto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wilson looking to score a takedown here. Inhanamoto is defending well but Wilson drives through and ends up in Inhanamoto's guard. Inhanamoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground. Wilson wants to control from the top but Inhanamoto keeps moving. Inhanamoto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Inhanamoto tries to get out of the position. Wilson with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson looks to land a right hand but Inhanamoto moved out of range. Inhanamoto clinches up with Wilson and pushes him back against the cage. Inhanamoto lands with a short shot to the head. Wilson wants the takedown. Inhanamoto is fighting it off but Wilson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Inhanamoto's guard against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson postures up in Inhanamoto's guard and throws a big left but Inhanamoto blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Inhanamoto managing to control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Inhanamoto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inhanamoto works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wilson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Wilson throwing strikes but missing. Wilson drops back looking for a leg! Inhanamoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Inhanamoto manages to kick Wilson off! Wilson jumps back into Inhanamoto's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wilson is looking to work some ground and pound but Inhanamoto has wrist control. Wilson won't allow Inhanamoto to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wilson fails with a takedown attempt. Aiko Inhanamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wade Wilson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wilson dodges the punch combination from Inhanamoto.
Inhanamoto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wade Wilson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Wilson throws an overhand right that lands on Inhanamoto's shoulder, as Inhanamoto tries to avoid the shot. Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. Inhanamoto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Wade Wilson has been cut. Inhanamoto avoids the body shot from Wilson.
Inhanamoto closes the distance looking to clinch and Wilson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Inhanamoto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Inhanamoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wade Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Wade Wilson's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Wilson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inhanamoto sprawls well. Wilson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Inhanamoto covers up, he's hurt! Wilson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wilson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wilson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wade Wilson! Wade Wilson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
