The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ops enables Golubev to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ops manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ops pushes Golubev off and gets back to his feet.

Golubev throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ops tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Golubev is in Ops's guard.
Ops really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Golubev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ops has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Golubev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Golubev's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ops escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Golubev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Golubev cracks Ops with a solid left hand.

Ops is rocked!
Golubev loads up on a big left hand. Ops felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Golubev looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ops can't hide his disappointment, as Golubev celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adrik Golubev!
After winning the bout, Adrik Golubev thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Denk Ops was interviewed post fight and said 'SUCK MY DICK AND GARGLE MY BALLS!! '.
