0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Luiz Capoia! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capoia wants to clinch up but Malone keeps it at a distance. Capoia shoots for a takedown but Malone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Capoia moves in looking to clinch but Malone pushes him off. Malone gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Capoia. Excellent takedown into side control there by Malone. Capoia is pushing Malone's head away, looking to escape. Malone manages to hold on to the position though. Malone tries for a kimura but Capoia is defending well. Capoia can't do much from the bottom here.
