The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with an uppercut.
Khan feints and as Penn raises his hands in defense, Khan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Khan advances position into side control!
Khan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Penn, who protects the arm well.
Penn is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Khan is working to tighten is grip on Penn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Penn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Khan is really squeezing tight and eventually Penn passes out! Khan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
