Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ultima Koivisto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Victor!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Victor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Victor catches Koivisto with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Victor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koivisto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A little feinted left hand from Koivisto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Koivisto connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Victor misses with a takedown attempt
and Koivisto counters with a straight right hand.
Koivisto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Victor moves away.
Victor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Koivisto momentarily.
Koivisto throws the left hand but Victor avoids the punch easily.
Victor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Koivisto defends it well.
Victor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Koivisto doesn't seem bothered though.
Victor lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Victor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Koivisto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Victor throws out a powerful jab.
Victor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Koivisto slips a straight right by Victor.
Victor throws the left hand but Koivisto avoids the punch easily.
Koivisto takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Koivisto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Koivisto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Caio Victor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Victor stalks Koivisto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Koivisto's face. Koivisto staggers backwards, shaken.
Koivisto takes one on the button.
Victor has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Victor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Koivisto.
Nice takedown defense from Koivisto. No joy for Victor on that attempt.
Victor just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKoivisto.
Victor cracks Koivisto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Victor shoots in for a takedown but Koivisto shows good takedown defense.
Koivisto throws a big counter combination but Victor scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ultima Koivisto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Victor.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Victor lands a head shot.
Victor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koivisto circles away quickly and effectively.
A punch combination from Koivisto misses.
Victor misses with a left hand
and Koivisto counters with a straight right hand.
Victor fails with the takedown
and Koivisto counters with a left and a right that stings Victor.
Koivisto throws a front kick aimed at Victor's knee but Victor avoids it well.
Victor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Koivisto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Victor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Victor tests Koivisto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ultima Koivisto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Koivisto throws a hook but Victor blocks it.
Victor feints the counter takedown.
Victor throws a looping overhand right but Koivisto ducks down to avoid it.
Koivisto is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Victor misses with a left hand
and Koivisto counters with a crisp one two that drops Victor! Koivisto thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Victor to his feet! Victor is in big trouble!
Victor is rocked!
Victor throws a right hand that misses
and Koivisto counters with a huge right that knocks Victor out cold! Koivisto is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
