Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morty Horowitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Metr!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Horowitz there.
Horowitz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Morty Horowitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horowitz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Metr manages to avoid it.
Horowitz misses with a head kick.
Horowitz drives through and clinches with Metr against the cage.
Metr can't get the takedown.
Metr is trying to drag Horowitz to the mat but Horowitz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Metr wants to stand and escape but instead Horowitz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Horowitz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Metr.

Horowitz is looking to clinch but Metr is avoiding it.
Metr drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Horowitz defends it well.

Metr wants to stand back up but Horowitz manages to pass into side control.
Horowitz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

No joy there for Metr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Metr misses with a takedown attempt - Horowitz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A jab from Horowitz finds it's way through Metr's defenses.

Metr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Horowitz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Metr somewhat.

Metr is looking to stand back up but Horowitz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Metr.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Horowitz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Metr seems to have recovered his senses.
Metr takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Metr tries to clinch there but Horowitz circles away.
Horowitz shoots in looking for a takedown but Metr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Horowitz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Metr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Horowitz lands a really nice looking cross but Metr seems unphased.

Metr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Horowitz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Morty Horowitz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Metr is breathing heavily.
Metr wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Horowitz has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Metr taps furiously! This one is all over!
