Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferruccio Siciliani (ranked 2799 p4p, 24876 weight class) and Roman Grigorev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grigorev has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ferruccio Siciliani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Grigorev!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siciliani looks to land a left hand but Grigorev moved out of range nicely.
Grigorev looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Siciliani misses the jab.
Siciliani cracks Grigorev with a right hand to the side of the head.
Siciliani scores with a nice strike.
Grigorev looks winded!
Grigorev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Siciliani.
Grigorev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Siciliani.
Siciliani misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grigorev.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grigorev! But no joy.
Grigorev tries to bum rush Siciliani with a series of wild strikes but Siciliani uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A counter left hand to the body from Siciliani misses its target.
BOOM! Siciliani lands a beautiful left hook that drops Grigorev. Grigorev tries to recover but Siciliani is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Grigorev lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ferruccio Siciliani!
Ferruccio Siciliani decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
