Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mau Castro!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro doesn't manage to clinch there - Castle circles away.
Castro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castle as he jumps to the side.
Mau Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castro wants to clinch up but Castle keeps it at a distance.
Castle stuffs the takedown.
Castro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Castle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Castro to the mat! Castro manages to get full guard.
Castle controlling from the top position.
Castle's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Castle wants to stand but Castro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

and Castle counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Castro's guard now.

Castle could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Castle gets to his feet. Castro looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Castle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Castro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Castle has Castro in his guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Castle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Castle seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Castro for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Castle can't keep his opponent in guard - Castro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Castle wants to control the action here but instead Castro manages to pass to full mount!
Mau Castro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Castle wants to control but Castro is having none of it.
Frank Castle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Castle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
