Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Dimblett (ranked 3398 p4p, 3516 weight class) and Chaiyo Sukbunsung (ranked 391 p4p, 401 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paddy Dimblett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chaiyo Sukbunsung!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukbunsung pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dimblett back to the cage. Sukbunsung follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dimblett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Dimblett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dimblett throws a lazy right hand but Sukbunsung sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chaiyo Sukbunsung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dimblett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sukbunsung's waist but Sukbunsung gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dimblett off to one side.
Sukbunsung throws a body shot but no joy.
Sukbunsung misses with an uppercut. Dimblett saw that one coming.

Dimblett instigates a clinch.
Dimblett misses with a body punch.
Dimblett avoiding damage.
Sukbunsung working some nice short punches in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dimblett tightens his grip and picks Sukbunsung up, before dumping him to the ground. Sukbunsung manages to land in guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Dimblett's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Sukbunsung bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dimblett's guard.

Sukbunsung tries to stand and escape but Dimblett is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sukbunsung scores with a jab to the body.
Sukbunsung connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dimblett's hands.

Dimblett drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sukbunsung looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dimblett is one step ahead there.

Dimblett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sukbunsung really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dimblett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dimblett wants to control from the top but Sukbunsung keeps moving.
Sukbunsung wants to get back to his feet but Dimblett is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sukbunsung controls Dimblett momentarily but Dimblett frees himself.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dimblett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sukbunsung swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sukbunsung keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dimblett pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sukbunsung fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dimblett on the side of the head.
Dimblett takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sukbunsung cracks Dimblett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dimblett.
Nice shot lands for Sukbunsung.
Dimblett throws a jab when Sukbunsung was well out of range.
Dimblett throws an overhand right that lands on Sukbunsung's shoulder, as Sukbunsung tries to avoid the shot.
Dimblett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sukbunsung throws a shot to the body.
Sukbunsung scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dimblett is breathing heavily.

Sukbunsung feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dimblett sprawling to the canvas! Dimblett rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sukbunsung finish him?!

Dimblett is rocked!
Sukbunsung is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dimblett had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Sukbunsung lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dimblett at a distance.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Chaiyo Sukbunsung dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sukbunsung cracks a nice hook into Dimblett's ribs.
Dimblett has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dimblett there as he acknowledges the shot.

Sukbunsung throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Sukbunsung cracks Dimblett with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sukbunsung has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dimblett to stand back up!
Oh Dimblett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sukbunsung circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Dimblett tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Sukbunsung wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chaiyo Sukbunsung!
An out of breath Chaiyo Sukbunsung thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
