The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perusinac.
A little feinted left hand from Butts on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Perusinac closes the distance and clinches up with Butts, looking for a takedown. Perusinac pushes Butts against the cage but Butts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Perusinac defending well as Butts loads up on a big left hand.
Perusinac darts in trying to clinch
and Butts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Butts looks to land a left hand but Perusinac moved out of range nicely.

It looks like Didi Perusinac has been cut.
