Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhett Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Aiden Jackson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aiden Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhett Hart!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Hart on that attempt.

Hart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hart is one step ahead there.

Hart gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hart shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hart showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jackson is trying to reverse the position but instead Hart has taken his back - oops!

Hart looking to break Jackson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jackson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hart will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Hart has got his arm under Jackson's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Jackson has spun round into Hart's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hart is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hart lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson!

Jackson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Hart stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Hart avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Jackson throws a shot to the body.
Hart misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hart closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hart lands in his opponent's guard.
Jackson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hart wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Hart controlling him for the moment.

Hart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rhett Hart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Hart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson!

Despite being in the dominant position, Rhett Hart just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hart is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hart gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Jackson counters with a left to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hart tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Hart has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment.
Hart wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.
Hart tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jackson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hart tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hart lands with a right to the head.
Jackson has Hart pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hart manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hart is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hart looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
