Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diieguito Marrentoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cerrone checks a leg kick.
Marrentoo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cerrone tries to kick Marrentoo off in order to stand up. Marrentoo Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marrentoo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Cerrone to see if he's OK.
Cerrone wants to get back to his feet.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The referee asks Marrentoo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Marrentoo prefers to stall for the moment though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
