Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Lett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Malcolm Tucker! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tucker as he avoids it easily. Tucker throws a right hand that Lett ducks under and follows up with a left that Lett also avoids with ease. Tucker connects with a jab.
It looks like David Lett has been cut. Tucker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Lett counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lett. Lett drops back looking for a leg! Tucker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tucker manages to kick Lett off! Lett jumps back into Tucker's guard. Lett definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tucker can do anything to dispel that myth. Lett throws a big right hand that misses. Lett stopping the sweep attempt from Tucker. Lett is looking to work some ground and pound but Tucker has wrist control. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lett is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tucker sees it coming and defends easily. Tucker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lett thows a huge punch but Tucker dodges it nicely.
Lett passes the guard and advances to mount! Lett throws some wild stikes that Tucker manages to avoid easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lett is working for a guillotine from mount but Tucker frees his head quite easily.
Lett jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tucker manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tucker holding on. Lett is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tucker has escaped the position, nice work there. Tucker is looking to regain half guard here but Lett keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tucker dodges the ground and pound from Lett. Tucker is trying to buck Lett off. Lett tries for a kimura but Tucker is defending well. Lett looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lett is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tucker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lett looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David Lett dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Lett's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Tucker lands a nice looking body shot.

A left lands for Tucker. Tucker catches Lett with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Lett forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
