Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sorry Eh (ranked 1365 p4p, 1848 weight class) and Jackie Chan (ranked 192 p4p, 250 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sorry Eh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackie Chan!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan misses with a wild combination.

Chan moves into the clinch.
Eh looking for a takedown.
Chan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Eh pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Chan lands an elbow inside that Eh shrugs off.
Chan taking a breather.
Eh is looking to take this one to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sorry Eh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chan tries for a takedown but Eh manages to get underhooks.

Chan missing with a left hand there. Eh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Chan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Eh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chan sprawls well initially but Eh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Eh slips a nice elbow through Chan's hands, connecting with Chan's forehead.
Eh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chan is trying to stand up here but Eh is controlling him well.
Eh slows the pace down in half guard.
Chan tries to get to full guard but Eh has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Eh prevents Chan from improving his position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jackie Chan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Eh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Chan misses with a hook

and Eh counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Eh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eh has managed to get both his arms back between Chan's legs - danger averted.
Chan trying to keep a closed guard but Eh is proving a slippery customer.

Sorry Eh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Eh postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Chan looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Eh passes into half guard.
Eh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Chan has managed to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Eh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eh is pressed up against the cage. Chan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Eh down to the mat. Eh avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Eh sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Eh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Eh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chan was well out of range. Poor timing from Eh.
Eh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Eh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Chan is trying to keep Eh in close.

Chan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Eh puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Eh is thwarting Chan's attempts to control the position.
Chan gets back to full guard.
Chan wants to stand but Eh is controlling the position.
Chan wants to sweep but no luck.

Chan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Eh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chan is keeping the position for now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sorry Eh dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Chan walks into a straight right hand from Eh.
Eh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Chan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Chan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Eh cracks Chan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Still in half guard, Eh seems content to control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eh in particular looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chan is trying to control but can't.
Chan desperately trying to maintain half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Eh controlling the action here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chan thows a leg kick but Eh checks it

and Eh counters with a single leg into guard. Chan didn't expect that.
Chan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Eh pushes Chan off looking to stand but Chan dives back in and keeps control.
Chan trying to control from half guard but Eh is working away.

Chan is looking for a kimura here.
Chan throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Eh to regain full guard.

Eh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Chan stopping the sweep attempt from Eh.
Chan wants to control from the top but Eh keeps moving.
Eh controlling Chan's posture.

Eh striking off his back but it's not causing Chan any problems.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sorry Eh.
I think Eh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
