Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Hokuto Akira (ranked 2711 p4p, 2456 weight class) and Iaspero Yalixqua (ranked 335 p4p, 308 weight class). Yalixqua has chosen Stop This Flame as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Yalixqua has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Akira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yalixqua.

That has opened up Iaspero Yalixqua's cut even more.
Akira cracks Yalixqua with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Yalixqua is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Yalixqua is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Yalixqua could not beat the count!
