Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Sully (ranked 766 p4p, 1039 weight class) and Baldomir Barbosa (ranked 102 p4p, 149 weight class). Sully comes to the cage accompanied by Hail the Apocallipse. Barbosa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Unfaithful kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jake Sully had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A cross from Barbosa lands.
Sully tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barbosa swivels and escapes.
We've been hearing reports that Sully has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sully misses with a double jab.
Barbosa wants to clinch up but Sully keeps it at a distance.
Barbosa lands a jab to the head.
Barbosa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Barbosa jabs Sully to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Barbosa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Sully is rocked!
BOOM! Barbosa lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sully. Sully tries to recover but Barbosa is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sully lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

An out of breath Baldomir Barbosa thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Jake Sully was interviewed post fight and said 'In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself.'.
