Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mahogany (ranked 2559 p4p, 2230 weight class) and Jason Mason (ranked 323 p4p, 290 weight class). Mahogany kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Litty. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Mason!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahogany walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mason checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mahogany takes one on the button.
Mason throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mason lands a nice looking body shot.
Mason misses with a straight left.
Mason pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mason connects with a nice looking jab.
Mahogany tries a head kick but it misses.
Mason looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mahogany connects with a high kick.
It looks like Jason Mason has been cut.
Mason keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mahogany.
A head kick by Mahogany misses
and Mason counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mason tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mahogany defends well and Mason ends up having to push Mahogany into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mahogany looks for the body kick but Mason saw that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mahogany bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mason lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Mahogany rushes Mason and presses him up against the cage.

Mahogany has Mason pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mahogany pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mason tumbling to the mat - Mahogany dives into Mason's guard.

Mahogany controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Mahogany tries to free his leg and advance position but Mason is retaining full guard.
Mahogany wants to control from the top but Mason keeps moving.
Mason preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mason wants to sweep but no luck.

Mahogany is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mason has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mahogany is looking to defend but Mason has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mahogany! Mason pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mahogany taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jason Mason!
In defeat, Rich Mahogany stepped up to the mic, saying 'Congratulations Pice O'Xit. You were a hell of an opponent. I will go home and take solace in my many leatherbound volumes.'.
