Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Layn Fyste (ranked 4115 p4p, 4322 weight class) and Bheng Fokker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fokker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fyste takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Fokker throws a right hand that Fyste ducks under and follows up with a left that Fyste also avoids with ease.

Fokker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fokker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fyste moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fokker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fyste closes the distance and clinches up with Fokker, looking for a takedown. Fyste pushes Fokker against the cage but Fokker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fyste shoots for a takedown but Fokker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fokker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fokker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fyste shoots in but Fokker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fyste closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fokker's guard.
Fyste has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fokker is proving hard to escape from.

Fyste trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Fyste closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fyste lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close second round but Bheng Fokker will probably get the nod - 10:9.
