Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Layn Fyste (ranked 4115 p4p, 4322 weight class) and Bheng Fokker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Layn Fyste ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bheng Fokker! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fokker lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fyste takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Fokker throws a right hand that Fyste ducks under and follows up with a left that Fyste also avoids with ease. Fokker lands a two punch combo.
Fokker throws out a powerful jab. Fokker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fokker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fyste moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fyste avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fokker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fyste . Fokker throws a one two combo.
Fokker throws a right hand that Fyste ducks under and follows up with a left that Fyste also avoids with ease. Fokker cracks Fyste with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fyste takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fokker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Jab by Fokker. Fokker is working the combinations to good effect here.

Fokker lands a jab. Fyste shoots for a takedown but Fokker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fokker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fokker fails to land with a series of punches.
Good shot there by Fokker. Fyste closes the distance and clinches up with Fokker, looking for a takedown. Fyste pushes Fokker against the cage but Fokker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Layn Fyste . That's going to take a lot out of him. Fokker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fokker looks winded! Fokker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fyste backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fokker throws a right and a left that Fyste avoids nicely. Fyste attempts a counter takedown but Fokker avoids it well and moves away. Fokker works over Fyste 's head and body with a nice combination. Fokker tries to sprawl but Fyste drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fyste is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fokker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fyste . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fyste shoots for a takedown but Fokker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fokker missing with a left hand there. Fyste was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fyste throws a jab when Fokker was well out of range. Fyste fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fokker sprawls well initially but Fyste persists and gets the takedown into half guard. It looks like Fyste is going to stand back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A telegraphed right hand from Fyste misses the target. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fyste . Horrible takedown attempt by Fyste or perhaps it was just good defense by Fokker, which made it look bad. Fokker lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bheng Fokker dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Fyste misses with an uppercut. Fokker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fyste eats them both and turns towards Fokker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Fyste walks into a left hand. Fokker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Fokker has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fyste misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fokker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fokker fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Fokker does no damage. Bheng Fokker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fyste shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fyste wanted to stand there but Fokker had control of the position. Fokker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fokker can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fokker is breathing heavily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fyste shoots in but Fokker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fyste closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fokker's guard. Fyste has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fokker is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fyste trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fyste throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fokker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Fyste closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fyste lands in his opponent's guard. Fokker has a closed guard, preventing Fyste from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Bheng Fokker will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Fyste throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fokker tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fyste is in Fokker's guard. Fyste trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fokker's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fokker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fyste shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fokker scores with a jab. Fokker blocks a jab. A punch combination from Fokker misses. Fyste goes for a double leg but Fokker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fokker continues to drive forward. Fyste gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Fyste has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fokker is proving hard to escape from.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Fyste . A little jabbing left from Fokker on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Layn Fyste . That's going to take a lot out of him. Fokker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fyste . Fyste misses with a takedown attempt - Fokker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fokker throws a counter combo. Bheng Fokker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fyste throws a leg kick but Fokker checks it. Fyste looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Nice jab there from Fokker. Fokker swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fokker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fyste fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fokker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fyste showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fokker.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fyste . Fokker throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fyste misses with a takedown attempt - Fokker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fokker getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
And that's the end of the fight! Bheng Fokker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fokker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
