Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferruccio Siciliani (ranked 2428 p4p, 4104 weight class) and Nedry McFee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nedry McFee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ferruccio Siciliani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nedry McFee!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siciliani lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Nedry McFee has been cut.
Siciliani tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McFee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McFee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Siciliani's guard.
Siciliani is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Siciliani is trying to control the position but McFee postures up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McFee won't allow Siciliani to sweep him here.
McFee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

McFee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McFee's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
McFee stands and throws Siciliani's legs to the side, diving into side control.

McFee is working to tighten his grip on Siciliani's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Siciliani has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McFee is really squeezing tight and eventually Siciliani passes out! McFee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
