Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winter Test Three (ranked 4241 p4p, 4148 weight class) and Takeru Hoji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Winter Test Three! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takeru Hoji! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Three tries for a takedown but Hoji circles away easily and Hoji counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hoji stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoji wants it to stay on the feet. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hoji!
It looks like Winter Test Three has been cut. Three takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice cross by Hoji. Hoji shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Three eats them both and turns towards Hoji to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Takeru Hoji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoji scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hoji lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Three backs up against the cage.
A jab from Hoji finds it's way through Three's defenses. Three takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Three closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hoji did well to prevent Three getting side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Three sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hoji defending well though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Three stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Hoji connects with a body shot that sends Three's belly button to the back. Three shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoji's guard. Hoji is looking to stand back up but Three counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hoji. Hoji looks like he's trying to stand up.
Three scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nice strikes from Three there. Three winds up and cracks Hoji with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoji on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Three takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Three is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hoji is hurt! He's hurt bad - Three fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hoji from any more punishment! Congratulations to Three! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Winter Test Three!
