The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafitte misses the shot to the body.
Steelsbrook dives in for a single leg takedown but Lafitte sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Steelsbrook tries to score a body lock takedown but Lafitte shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lafitte manages to break the clinch.
Lafitte pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Steelsbrook back to the cage. Lafitte follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tamon Steelsbrook has been cut.

Steelsbrook stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Steelsbrook is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lafitte sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lafitte steps into range and cracks Steelsbrook with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Steelsbrook flops backwards and Lafitte dives into his guard looking to finish!

Steelsbrook is working an open guard so Lafitte takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Steelsbrook drops his hands momentarily. Lafitte doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Steelsbrook staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Steelsbrook doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
