Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Fredricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Watts!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts ducks under a wild hook from Fredricks.
Watts throws the left hand but Fredricks avoids the punch easily.
Watts connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fredricks's hands.
Fredricks throws a big shot that misses.
A little jabbing left from Watts on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Watts fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fredricks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Watts throws a hook but Fredricks blocks it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Watts.
Watts is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fredricks.
It looks like Cole Watts has been cut.
Watts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Watts tries to move into range but Fredricks moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Watts takes a jab right on the kisser.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fredricks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Watts throws out the jab.
Fredricks takes one to the side of the head.
Fredricks is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The fighters circle momentarily. Watts darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fredricks on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Watts misses with a wild body shot.
Watts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Watts with the counter takedown but Fredricks avoids it easily.
Watts throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Watts throws a looping overhand right but Fredricks ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice cross by Watts.
Watts misses with a right hand
and Fredricks counters with a huge left! Watts is in big trouble! He's backing up but Fredricks isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Watts from any more damage. A dominating finish by Fredricks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kent Fredricks!
