Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 1142 p4p, 1306 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 63 p4p, 77 weight class). Ruddo Ryokale has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Destin Craven! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruddo Ryokale! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryokale lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Craven avoids the head kick by Ryokale.

Ryokale clinches. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ryokale has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Craven has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ryokale regains guard immediately. Ryokale controls Craven momentarily but Craven frees himself. Ryokale might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Craven haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've been hearing that Craven has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ryokale looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ryokale had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Craven defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Craven can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Craven is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Craven cracks Ryokale with a solid left hand. Craven working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Craven trying to control but Ryokale is working from the bottom. Craven keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ryokale's head. Craven trying to control but Ryokale is working from the bottom. Ryokale isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Craven stacks Ryokale on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Craven! Ryokale on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Craven working away. Craven wants to control but Ryokale is keeping him busy. Craven tries to move to mount but Ryokale blocks the move with his legs. Craven is putting a hurting on Ryokale here, landing some big shots from side control. Craven trying to control the action but Ryokale is working from the bottom. Ryokale manages to work his way to half guard, despite Craven's best efforts. Ryokale wants to improve his position but Craven is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Craven winds up and cracks Ryokale with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ryokale is looking for a sweep. Craven is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Well, if Craven is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ryokale manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Craven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryokale swivels though and keeps the full guard. Craven working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ryokale's head. Ryokale being controlled here, momentarily. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Craven's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ryokale looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryokale has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Craven should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ryokale has tightened it up now! Craven should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
