Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nicolino Monster (ranked 3254 p4p, 3153 weight class) and Pablo Noriega (ranked 0 p4p, 297 weight class). Noriega has chosen MS-13 Mara Salvatrucha as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicolino Monster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 35 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pablo Noriega! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noriega scores with a punch to the head. Monster takes a shot right to the bread basket. Noriega scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Nicolino Monster has been cut. Monster fails with the takedown and Noriega counters with a straight right hand. Monster gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Noriega counters with a straight right hand. Monster takes one on the button. Noriega throws a quick inside leg kick. Monster tries for a takedown but Noriega circles away easily and Noriega counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolino Monster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monster has his takedown stuffed and Noriega counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Noriega comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Noriega lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Noriega has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Noriega!
The crowd cheers as Noriega lands an impressive looking overhand right. Monster doesn't seem phased though. Noriega lands the left hand. Noriega is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monster shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Noriega sprawls well. Noriega wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Monster gets slowly back to his feet. Noriega smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Monster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Noriega circles away. Noriega lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Monster fails with the takedown and Monster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Monster ducks right into an uppercut from Noriega. Noriega is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Monster had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. That kick from Noriega tenderised Monster's leg. Monster is trying to keep his angry face on. Monster walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Noriega dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Monster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Monster misses with a takedown and Noriega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Noriega is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Monster walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Nice cross by Noriega. Monster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Noriega makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Monster stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Noriega. Monster fails with the takedown and Noriega counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Monster on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Monster. Noriega lands a front kick. Noriega lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A solid body kick from Noriega.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noriega lands an overhand right. Monster tries for a takedown but Noriega circles away easily and Noriega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Noriega cracks Monster with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Monster misses with a takedown attempt and Monster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Monster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noriega finds it's way round the side to connect with Monster's head. Monster fails with the takedown. Monster is breathing heavily. Noriega scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Noriega connects with a high kick. Noriega stuffs the takedown attempt from Monster. Monster gets slowly back to his feet. Noriega fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Monster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Noriega's waist but Noriega gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Monster off to one side. Monster looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Noriega pushes Monster off and gets back to his feet.
Noriega's jab looks to have found its range, popping Monster under the eye. Noriega scores with a nice body kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Noriega. That's going to slow Monster down. Pablo Noriega is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab, jab by Noriega - just one landing. Noriega explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Monster looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Noriega fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Monster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Monster misses with a takedown attempt and Noriega connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Noriega dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nicolino Monster's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! A chopping leg kick lands by Noriega. Noriega looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Monster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Noriega finds it's way round the side to connect with Monster's head. Pablo Noriega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Noriega scores with a jab to the head.

Noriega changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Noriega lands a jab to Monster's midsection. Monster misses with a takedown attempt and Noriega counters with a good, hard body kick but Monster shrugs it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Monster walks into a stiff left hand from Noriega. Noriega has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Monster on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Monster has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Noriega.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Noriega connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Noriega lands with an overhand left. Monster is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Noriega throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Noriega bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Monster walks into a straight right hand from Noriega. Monster on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Monster takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Noriega throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Monster chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Noriega can pounce on him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Noriega. Monster misses with a takedown attempt and Noriega counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Monster is rocked! Monster will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Noriega scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Oh Monster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Monster takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Noriega defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Monster. Monster seems to have got his legs back now. Noriega throws a leg kick which misses Monster's front leg but catches the back leg as Monster tries to avoid it. Donk. Noriega catches Monster right on the button with a cross. Monster misses with a takedown attempt and Noriega counters with a good low kick that Monster was not able to check. Monster on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Noriega. Noriega obviously looking to wear him down.
Monster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Noriega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Monster with a lazy takedown attempt and Noriega cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Noriega throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Noriega has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Noriega, as that shot connected.
Noriega moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Monster has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Noriega. Noriega fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Monster shoots for a takedown but Noriega saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Crunch! Noriega slams his shin into Monster's torso. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Monster takes a jab right on the kisser.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Noriega, as that shot connected.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Noriega's corner calls for a 1-2. Noriega obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Monster on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Monster fails with the takedown and Noriega counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Monster has his takedown stuffed and Noriega counters with a thumping low kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Noriega!

Noriega bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Monster's head backwards. Noriega drops Monster with a huge uppercut! Monster drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Noriega is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
