And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anti Happy!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov connects with a single shot there.
Happy fails to land the takedown.
Petrov throwing a counter right hand but Happy manages to avoid it.
Petrov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Happy.
Happy looks for a takedown but Petrov sprawls well.
Petrov misses with a head kick.
Happy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Petrov is fending him off so far but Happy persists. Nope, Petrov circles away and we're back to standing.
Aaron Petrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anti Happy.
Petrov lands a jab to the nose.
Aaron Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov throws a combination. Happy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Happy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Petrov is fending him off so far but Happy persists. Nope, Petrov circles away and we're back to standing.
Petrov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Petrov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Happy momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Happy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Petrov is fending him off so far but Happy persists. Nope, Petrov circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice body punch from Petrov.
Petrov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Happy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Happy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Petrov swivels and escapes.
An attempted straight right counter from Petrov misses the target.
Happy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov is trying to get back to full guard.
Happy trying to control the pace.
Happy maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Petrov could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Happy has cracked it and Petrov is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Happy!
