Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Smythe (ranked 2404 p4p, 22261 weight class) and Ingolf Ulfriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smythe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Chairman's Intent: Action Bronson. Ulfriksson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hvem Er Hun. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulfriksson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smythe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ulfriksson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smythe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ulfriksson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Smythe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smythe appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Smythe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A left lands for Smythe.
We've been hearing reports that Smythe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ulfriksson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smythe lands a jab to Ulfriksson's midsection.

Good work by Smythe as he checks the leg kick.
Smythe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smythe's corner calls for a 1-2. Smythe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Look low, kick high! Smythe uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ulfriksson tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Smythe is absolutely delighted - when Ulfriksson wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
