Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seemah Feet (ranked 1702 p4p, 1392 weight class) and Nova Lankinen (ranked 235 p4p, 196 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Feet might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Footsteps (Go Higher). Seemah Feet could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nova Lankinen's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feet throws a lazy uppercut
and Lankinen counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Seemah Feet has been cut.
Feet goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lankinen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Feet shoots in looking for a takedown. Lankinen tries to sprawl out of it but Feet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lankinen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Feet goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've been hearing good reports from Feet's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lankinen throws an uppercut from hell that sends Feet clean off his feet! He's out cold! Lankinen stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
