Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Riker (ranked 248 p4p, 285 weight class) and Noah Anderson (ranked 36 p4p, 41 weight class). Riker's entrance music is In The Summertime. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Anderson's choice of entrance music: Bassically by Tei Shi. Noah Anderson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noah Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A good leg kick by Anderson.
Good exchange - Anderson coming out on top.
Anderson walks into a left hand.

It looks like Noah Anderson has been cut.
Anderson lands a jab.
Anderson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Riker just misses with a punch to the body.
A leg kick checked by Riker.
The fighters circling - Riker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Anderson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A thudding body kick lands there by Anderson!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice leg kick from Anderson, right into the meat of the thigh.
Noah Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riker swings for the body but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like William Riker has been cut.
Anderson clobbers Riker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Anderson gets a clinch.
Riker misses with a short punch on the inside.

Riker drags the fight down to the ground.
Anderson throwing strikes but missing.
Anderson postures up.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Anderson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Anderson gets to his feet. Riker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Anderson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Anderson missing with a left hand there. Riker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Riker appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riker throws a lazy right hand but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Anderson tries to move into range but Riker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Riker misses with a hook.
Anderson ducks under a wild hook from Riker.
Riker misses with an uppercut
and Anderson counters with a good, hard body kick but Riker shrugs it off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Riker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Riker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.
Riker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson.
Anderson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Anderson scoring well with a low kick there.
Anderson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Anderson lands a jab to the nose.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Anderson scores with a hook.
Anderson misses with an uppercut. Riker saw that one coming.
Anderson lands a glancing blow to the side of Riker's head.

Anderson lands a big uppercut and Riker crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Riker looks OK. Anderson waves Riker back to his feet!

Riker is rocked!
A slow jab from Anderson misses its intended target.
Anderson lands a leg kick that knocks Riker off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anderson drops Riker with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Riker looks back up at him and smiles so Anderson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Riker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Anderson engages and cracks Riker with a massive lead left hook - Riker tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Anderson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noah Anderson!
Noah Anderson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
