Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Brone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Barat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brone comes to the cage accompanied by FINLANDIA by Jean Sibelius. Jason Brone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brone.
Barat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No luck for Brone with that takedown attempt.
Brone throws a series of punches but Barat avoids them all with ease.
Barat misses with an uppercut.
Barat scores with a sloppy right hand. Brone should have avoided that one.

It looks like Jason Brone has been cut.
Brone moves out of range of the strikes.

Barat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brone.

Brone seems to have got his legs back now.
Brone strikes from the bottom.
Barat gets to mount! Brone was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Brone manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Barat is looking to stall here but Brone recovers full guard.

Barat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brone has his foot on Barat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barat works his way back into a safe position though.
Barat wants to stand but Brone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Brone lands an upkick as Barat stands over him.
Brone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barat is one step ahead there.

Brone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Brone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brone has a closed guard, preventing Barat from standing up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Barat takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barat displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brone throws out the jab.
Barat stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brone.
Brone throws a shot from downtown. Barat moves away and avoids it.
Barat slips a straight right by Brone.
Brone with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brone scores with a crisp jab that stopped Barat in his tracks.
Barat misses with a head kick.
Brone thows a body shot but no joy.
Brone throws a good cross that connects.
A nice combination there by Barat.
Barat throws a head kick but Brone moves out of range.
Brone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barat lands a glancing blow to the side of Brone's head.

Jason Brone's cut is getting worse.
Barat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Barat throws out a leg kick but Brone moves out of range and Barat only half commits.
Brone checks a low kick from Barat.
Barat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Barat takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brone throws out a loose jab but Barat uses good head movement to avoid it.

Brone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Brone tries to advance to mount but Barat instead regains half guard.

Brone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Brone is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Barat wants to get back to full guard.

Brone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barat's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Brone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barat defends it well.
Brone prevents Barat from improving his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brone fails to land the takedown.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brone.
Carl Barat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Brone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barat misses with a low kick as Brone jumps back.
Barat jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Barat throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Brone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barat manages to avoid it.
Barat drops Brone with a beautiful combination! Brone stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Barat is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jason Brone's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Barat stuns Brone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Barat grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Brone takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Barat cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
