Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 510 p4p, 962 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 80 p4p, 136 weight class). Lester has chosen Get Back - Ludacris as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jesus Christ Karter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Moe Lester's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesus Christ Karter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Moe Lester! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karter tries to land a leg kick but Lester saw it coming and moves away.
Karter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lester. Lester tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Karter moves away from the strike by Lester. Karter tries to sprawl but Lester drives through with a takedown into half guard. Karter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Karter is trying to control the position but Lester postures up. Karter is looking to sweep but instead, Lester has passed into half guard.
Karter is controlling Lester's trapped leg to prevent Lester from advancing to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lester wants to pass the guard but Karter is defending well. Karter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lester is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Karter does no damage. Karter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lester.
Jesus Christ Karter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lester takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Karter misses with a straight right. Lester tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Karter defends well and Lester ends up having to push Karter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Karter seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lester moves out of range of the body kick from Karter.
Lester doesn't succeed with the takedown and Karter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lester misses with a double jab.
A little feinted left hand from Karter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lester is trying hard to land a takedown here. Karter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jesus Christ Karter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moe Lester. Lester scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Karter keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Karter wants to get back to full guard. Lester trying to pass the guard but Karter defending well. Karter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lester is working away from the top position though. Karter is looking for a sweep. Lester is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lester is trying to control the action in half guard but Karter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lester checks a leg kick. Lester swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Lester tries to catch it but that hurt him. Lester tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Karter defends well and Lester ends up having to push Karter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A jab from Karter misses. Lester swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jesus Christ Karter will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Lester misses the jab. Lester keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lester let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Karter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lester shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lester showed some decent athleticism there. Karter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lester is working away from the top position though. Lester content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lester seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lester got a little sloppy there for a moment and Karter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lester has managed to get both his arms back between Karter's legs - danger averted. Lester landing with the ground and pound. Lester wants to control from the top but Karter keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lester controls from within his opponent's guard. Karter is pulling down on Lester's head to control his posture. Lester content to stall in guard here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lester drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Karter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Karter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lester defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lester controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lester trying to control but Karter is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lester lands a couple of digs. Lester looking to sit in guard and control but Karter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Moe Lester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Karter lands a hook that snaps the head of Lester backwards. Karter tries to work over Lester's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Lester manages to break the clinch.
Lester throws a jab when Karter was well out of range. Lester checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lester misses with a body shot.
Karter fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lester just manages to avoid it. Karter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Karter misses with a head kick.
Karter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lester slips a straight right by Karter. Lester swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A looping hook to the body misses from Lester. Karter does a little dance to reset his feet. Lester takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lester jabbing away but nothing is landing. Karter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lester. Lester throws out a loose jab but Karter uses good head movement to avoid it. Lester throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Some wild striking there from Karter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karter misses with a straight left. Lester takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Karter is looking to score with low kicks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Karter takes a swing at Lester's ribcage but misses. Karter scores with a hook. Lester connects with a crisp jab. Lester dives in and grabs Karter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Karter pushes down on Lester's head and hops out. Karter appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Moe Lester. I think Lester has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
