The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Oyelowo shoots in for a takedown but Devlin shows good takedown defense.
Devlin feinted with a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oyelowo fails with a takedown attempt.

Devlin swats away the attempt to clinch by Oyelowo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Devlin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Oyelowo throws a series of punches but Devlin moves out of range.

Oyelowo swats away the attempt to clinch by Devlin.
