Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petrus Nekongo (ranked 3982 p4p, 3976 weight class) and Anthony Prilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Petrus Nekongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Prilla!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prilla drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Nekongo can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prilla working the ground and pound but Nekongo is defending the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nekongo is not content to let Prilla control the position.

Nekongo is looking for a sweep.

Prilla thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nekongo's head.

Prilla prevents Nekongo from improving his position.
Nekongo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nekongo tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Prilla with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Nekongo has hold of Prilla's hands but Prilla slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
It looks like Petrus Nekongo has been cut.
Prilla performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prilla wants to free his trapped foot but Nekongo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Nekongo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Prilla scores with a couple of nice shots.

Prilla wants to work for an arm triangle but Nekongo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Prilla drops an elbow to the side of Nekongo's head.
Prilla content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Prilla passes to side control.
Prilla grinds an elbow into Nekongo's temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Prilla misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Prilla cracks Nekongo with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Prilla immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Nekongo is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Prilla!
