The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch but Mjölnir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mjölnir connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hernandez momentarily.
Hernandez shoots in but Mjölnir avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hernandez tries to move into range but Mjölnir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Torsten Mjölnir will probably get the nod.

Mjölnir went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Mjölnir breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hernandez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hernandez has Mjölnir pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hernandez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mjölnir tumbling to the mat - Hernandez dives into Mjölnir's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
