Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Fili (ranked 3895 p4p, 4131 weight class) and Pykky Kalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anderson Fili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pykky Kalla!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fili shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kalla defends it nicely.
Kalla throws a low kick but Fili moves out of range easily.
Fili closes the distance and clinches up with Kalla, looking for a takedown. Fili pushes Kalla against the cage but Kalla circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fili or perhaps it was just good defense by Kalla, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Fili. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fili is defended easily by Kalla.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fili fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kalla is out of range.
Kalla takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fili doesn't manage to clinch there - Kalla circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Kalla.
Kalla takes a swing at Fili's ribcage but misses.
Fili steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kalla.
Kalla throws a lazy body kick
and Fili counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kalla misses with a right hand
and Fili counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fili fails to pull guard.
Fili drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kalla gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kalla tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fili lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fili tries to land knees in the clinch but Kalla avoids the damage to the body.
Fili has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kalla has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fili is trying to keep an underhook but Kalla manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kalla lands strikes from half guard.
Kalla thows a huge punch but Fili dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalla works his foot free and advances to mount.
Fili manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Fili, under a barage of strikes from Kalla.
Kalla works his way into full mount!
Fili is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kalla avoids the attempt from Fili to control.
Fili is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fili is looking to improve his position but Kalla isn't that keen on the idea.
Kalla breaks from Fili's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Kalla wants to control the pace but Fili is squirming around nicely.

Kalla is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fili has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fili!

Kalla is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fili has his hands clasped together but Kalla extends and breaks Fili's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kalla.
