Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caelan Aengus (ranked 861 p4p, 2187 weight class) and Khabib Nurmagomedov (ranked 123 p4p, 285 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aengus misses with a right hand
letting Nurmagomedov counter with a right hand.
Aengus throws a shot from downtown. Nurmagomedov moves away and avoids it.
Aengus throws a jab but it's blocked by Nurmagomedov.

Aengus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nurmagomedov lands a body shot in the clinch.
Nurmagomedov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Nurmagomedov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Aengus gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Aengus wants to get back to striking at distance but Nurmagomedov won't allow it.

Nurmagomedov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aengus backwards.

Nurmagomedov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aengus can't fight it off and eventually Nurmagomedov manages to take the fight to the floor. Aengus looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Aengus has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Nurmagomedov is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Nurmagomedov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aengus's elbow.

Aengus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

enabling Nurmagomedov to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nurmagomedov moves out of range of the strikes.
Aengus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Aengus throws a looping overhand right but Nurmagomedov ducks down to avoid it.
Aengus lunges at Nurmagomedov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nurmagomedov's hand.
Caelan Aengus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Nurmagomedov counters with a straight right hand.
Aengus moves out of range of the strikes.

Aengus drops Nurmagomedov with a beautiful combination! Nurmagomedov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Aengus is looking for the KO!

It looks like Khabib Nurmagomedov has been cut.

and Nurmagomedov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Aengus thinking.
Oh Aengus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nurmagomedov seems to have recovered his senses.
Aengus scores with a nice strike.
Aengus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nurmagomedov counters with a huge left! Aengus is in big trouble! He's backing up but Nurmagomedov isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Aengus from any more damage. A dominating finish by Nurmagomedov!
