Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niko Silva (ranked 4518 p4p, 4295 weight class) and Terence Oliver (ranked 429 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oliver avoids it really well and circles away.

Oliver throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Oliver fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.

Oliver looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked Oliver up and slammed him! Oliver can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control!

Oliver closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oliver lands in his opponent's guard.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oliver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Oliver in his guard.

Well Oliver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
