PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Carrillo-Moreno (ranked 2003 p4p, 2468 weight class) and Adlartok Chizutere (ranked 121 p4p, 149 weight class). Chizutere has chosen Shacka Facka as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendon Carrillo-Moreno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adlartok Chizutere!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chizutere throws a jab when Carrillo-Moreno was well out of range.
Carrillo-Moreno gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Chizutere counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carrillo-Moreno moves away from the strike by Chizutere.
Carrillo-Moreno gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chizutere.

Carrillo-Moreno closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chizutere to the mat! Chizutere manages to get full guard.

Carrillo-Moreno changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Carrillo-Moreno takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Carrillo-Moreno closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chizutere circles away.
Carrillo-Moreno bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Carrillo-Moreno takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A slow jab from Chizutere misses its intended target.

Chizutere fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carrillo-Moreno manages to avoid it.

Carrillo-Moreno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chizutere is fending him off so far but Carrillo-Moreno persists. Nope, Chizutere circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Carrillo-Moreno is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Chizutere still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Chizutere has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
