Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Kingman (ranked 3044 p4p, 6005 weight class) and Howie Finkelman (ranked 279 p4p, 372 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Kingman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howie Finkelman! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finkelman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kingman tries to avoid it but Finkelman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kingman to the ground. Kingman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kingman is looking to counter punch. Kingman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Finkelman moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A punch combination from Kingman misses. Finkelman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Finkelman breaks from the clinch.
Finkelman fails with a takedown attempt. A jab from Finkelman finds it's way through Kingman's defenses. Finkelman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Finkelman tries to clinch up but Kingman circles away and keeps his distance. Finkelman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Kingman just misses with a punch to the body.
Kingman throws a shot from downtown. Finkelman moves away and avoids it. Kingman jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kingman misses with an uppercut. Finkelman saw that one coming. A telegraphed right hand from Finkelman misses the target. Kingman drops his hands momentarily and Finkelman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kingman needs to keep his hands up - Finkelman had a free shot at his head there. Finkelman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kingman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Finkelman misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finkelman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brian Kingman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Howie Finkelman. BOOM! Kingman lands a beautiful left hook that drops Finkelman. Finkelman tries to recover but Kingman is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Finkelman lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Kingman! Brian Kingman bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
