Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nicolino Monster (ranked 3638 p4p, 24123 weight class) and Glenn Morano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glenn Morano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicolino Monster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Morano!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster looks for a takedown but Morano sprawls well.

and Monster counters with a nice double leg into side control. Morano won't be happy with that.
Monster swings around for an armbar but Morano sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Monster's guard.
Morano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Morano is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Morano throws a strike but Monster rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Morano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morano wants to get back to his feet but Monster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Morano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Monster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morano has managed to get both his arms back between Monster's legs - danger averted.

Monster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Morano paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Monster - great work!
