Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Parker (ranked 1948 p4p, 2239 weight class) and Alexander Mesquita (ranked 247 p4p, 286 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me The Horizon - Obey. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Mesquita! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker connects with a right hand. Mesquita shakes it off. The fight stays on the outside here - Mesquita looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Parker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Parker misses with a combination
and Mesquita counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mesquita. Mesquita blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Parker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Mesquita is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Parker is defending well. A short right from Parker on the inside. Mesquita jumps guard and drags Parker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Parker wants to stand but Mesquita has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mesquita on the ground. Mesquita tries to land a sweep but no joy. Parker wants to stand but Mesquita has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mesquita is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mesquita has a closed guard, preventing Parker from standing up. Mesquita is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parker defends well. Parker wants to get up but he can't break Mesquita's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mesquita has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Parker doesn't defend quickly enough and Mesquita has managed to lock this one up! Can Parker escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mesquita on a fantastic submission victory.
