The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diefenbaker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Diefenbaker lands a with a good body shot.
Anderson tries to clinch there but Diefenbaker circles away.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Diefenbaker tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diefenbaker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Diefenbaker drops Anderson with a beautiful combination! Anderson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Diefenbaker is looking for the KO!
Anderson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diefenbaker shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Anderson takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Diefenbaker sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Anderson bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
