Lorenzo has chosen Giorno's theme - flamenco cover as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzo throws a hook to the side of Mferi's head but Mferi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mferi missing with a left hand there. Lorenzo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mferi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lorenzo, pushing him back against the cage.

I was talking to Mferi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Mferi misses with some punches.
