Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 24433 p4p, 24135 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard John Salvacion has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tapad Amiga's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Amiga controls the pace.
Salvacion is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salvacion holds on and takes a little breather.

Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amiga avoids it really well and circles away.

Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
Amiga tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Amiga ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Salvacion is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Amiga pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tapad Amiga.
I think Amiga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
