Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Studd!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Studd.
It looked like Cunningham wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Studd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Studd needs to keep his hands up - Cunningham had a free shot at his head there.

Studd is looking to stand up but Cunningham isn't so interested in that idea.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cunningham has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Studd looking for a sweep. Not yet Studd, not yet.

Studd is trying to hold Cunningham in close to prevent damage but Cunningham has managed to pass into half guard.

Cunningham working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

It looks like John Studd has been cut.

Studd looks like he's trying to stand up.

Studd is still in real trouble! Can Cunningham finish him?

Cunningham winds up and cracks Studd with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Cunningham takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dennis Cunningham dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Studd's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Cunningham cracks Studd's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Studd slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Cunningham can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dennis Cunningham!
