And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Lasso!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasso cracks Andrews with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lasso has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Andrews to stand back up!
Andrews instigates a clinch.
Lasso's coach down at Blacksmith MMA Gym πΊπ² was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lasso's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lasso scores with a shot to the side of Andrews's head.
Andrews is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lasso throws a punch but it's blocked by Andrews.
Andrews tries to land knees in the clinch but Lasso avoids the damage to the body.
Lasso misses with the head strike.
Lasso drops Andrews onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Andrews is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Andrews is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lasso lands a body shot in the clinch.
Andrews is breathing heavily.
Lasso lands a left hand.
Lasso drops Andrews onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Andrews is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Lasso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lasso throws a series of punches but Andrews avoids them all with ease.
Lasso lands a nice hook to Andrews's body. Andrews takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lasso connects with a body shot that sends Andrews's belly button to the back.
Lasso ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ted Lasso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lasso lands a nice looking body shot.
Andrews seems to have got his legs back now.
Lasso grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Andrews takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Lasso cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
